In March 2016, we at Professional Relo successfully passed the audit for the renewal of our quality certification. The Global Quality Seal awarded by EuRA (European Relocation Association) is the world’s first independent certification programme for companies providing relocation services.
Based on the management system of ISO:9001 processes, it actually exceeds the basic requirements, specifying the additional processes and the Key Performance Indicators that are needed to reach the highest quality standards relating to the relocation industry.
The certification process required considerable time and effort. It involved a huge amount of work by Professional Relo’s entire Team, in terms of both operations and training. Through a mentor, the quality process led us to rethink our objectives, change our working methods; create our policies, including corporate social responsibility, the business continuity plan, security and anti-corruption; discuss – sometimes heatedly – processes and procedures, with a view to finding the right compromise between flexibility and control; concentrate on providing unique services, optimizing time and the available resources. We did all of this without losing sight of our Mission – that is, being acknowledged as the number one relocation company in Italy.
We approached the days of the audits with the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, SGS, with the excitement proper to the “night before the exams” as shared by hard-working, anxious students. However, when we were given the long-awaited certificate, we were absolutely delighted, one reason being that Professional Relo was the first company in 2014, and still is the only company in Italy to have been awarded the quality certification by EuRA. This makes us, if possible, even prouder.
