From December 16, 2021 and until January 31, 2022, Italian legislation (Decree October 22, 2021 and Decree December 14, 2021) allows travels from Italy to foreign countries in compliance with specific indications related to the country of destination.
For entry / return to Italy from List C countries (EU member country or Schengen Area), the following measures are required:
- filling in the online localization form (digital Passenger Locator Form – dPLF)
- ownership of the Covid-19 Green Certification or other equivalent certification certifying the completion of the vaccination cycle or recovery
- negative result of the molecular test in the 48 hours prior to arrival in Italy or the antigen test in the 24 hours prior to arrival in Italy
Furthermore, from 15 December 2021, the validity of the COVID-19 green certification for vaccination is reduced from 12 to 9 months from the date of the last injection.
