VACCINATION PLAN

WHO-HOW-WHEN

On March 13, 2021, the vaccination plan of the extraordinary Commissioner for the execution of the mass national vaccination campaign was released (Piano vaccinale del Commissario straordinario).

The goal is to vaccinate at least 80% of the population by September 2021.

After the first phase based on categories priority system, now the Regions are planning vaccinations based on the age groups the Italian population belongs to.

Who

All those who:
1.are resident in Italy
2. are registered to the SSN

How

To access the vaccination plan, reservations must be made according to the procedures indicated by each region.

When

Each region has its own vaccination schedule. It is therefore necessary to check the dates and process of booking the vaccination appointment through the website of the region of residence.

Here below is the vaccination plan of Lombardy region released on April 2nd. This programme may be changed based on the actual vaccines availability.
