Immigration Services

Immigration
is a tough issue! Italian bureaucracy is slow,
complicated and chaotic!
This, combined with our
public offices' poor sense of 'customer care', can
make immigration and administration procedures
involving non EU Nationals an extremely frustrating
experience.

At Professional Relo Immigration and Administration
Services are handled by an in-house team. Our
specialists are constantly updated about laws that
rule this difficult matter, which is even more
challenging not having in Italy any
specific regulation for highly skilled/specialized
non EU workers. Only exception is quotas exemption.
Though, thanks to the experience acquired and the respect
gained amongst Public Officers over 15 years of activity, make us able to
successfully manage any immigration procedures.
Work and Family Permits
TOP
Any non EU National intending to work in Italy, either temporarily or permanently, must be provided with a Work Permit (Nulla Osta Lavoro), to be applied by the prospective employer and to be issued by the provincial Labour immigration Office (Sportello Unico per l’Immigrazione – S.U.I.).
Italian Employer, Employee’s Employer abroad and Employee (plus dependants where applicable) have to provide a number of documents and information, being the Employer in Italy the one needing to collect and disclose the majority of them to Authorities.
Professional Relo will provide separate and detailed listings per each of the three parties concerned.
To effectively conduct a work permit application Professional Relo and Italian employer’s HR representatives will need to closely work together.
Once the Italian Employer has obtained the Work Permit (and Family Permit where applicable), Professional Relo mails the original document to the Employee who will apply within 6 months for the Work Visa (and, jointly, Family Visa where applicable) at his/her local Italian Consulate.
When Employee (and dependants) has obtained the Visa from the Italian Consulate and will have informed us about his/her arrival date, Professional Relo will arrange a meeting with the Labour Immigration Office (S.U.I.), where he/she will have to sign the “Job Contract” within 8 days after the arrival.
Non EU Nationals residing in Italy must apply for a Residence Permit after having signed the above mentioned "Job Contract" at S.U.I.
This is quite a long procedure taking up to 6 months to be ended. Professional Relo assists relocatees along the whole process and deals with offices concerned till the final document withdrawal.
