ABOUT US Professional Relo is the natural extension to a corporations' Human Resources Department. Consulting on an on-going basis with HR people on the design and execution of their international mobility policies, we provide Italian and international employees/families with a comprehensive, tailor-made, professional service. Professional Relo is the name Corporate Relocations Italia has been chosen to start a new company's era. Following our ongoing development and the credit and respect we have been enjoying among our clients, we had realized that it was our goal to keep growing and developing in new areas and markets, thus also establishing new partnerships to enhance our customer assistance autonomously. Back to 1994, our founder Maddalena Michieli, who's still managing the company, having experienced the burden of relocating in different countries, and having enjoyed the support provided by relocation professionals abroad, once back to Italy wanted to 'test' the local existing relocation knowledge. The results outlined that relocation was poorly developed and that corporations were used (or forced!) to manage their international mobility matters internally. Clearly, there was an incredible business opportunity out there: to provide corporate international employees, and their families, with comprehensive, professional and personalized relocation services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Professional Relo was created in 1994 under the name of Corporate Relocations, as a member of a network of companies whose only commercial target, and only core business, was to provide multinational firms with a complete range of services to help them carry out their international mobility policies. A that time, in Italy, the relocation market was not really developed, with a low level of know-how and professionalism. There was definetly a business opportunity and a lot of work to establish a company that could offer a higly qualified support in the relocation field. The effort and commitment to achieve this goal was motivated by the fact that Professional Relo, as well as many other similar agencies, wanted to offer not only a comprehensive service to the client, but also become its natural extension as a reliable and flexible consultant able to adapt to the ever changing needs of a multinational company. A team work, that ranges from the daily and close relation with the expatriate, to the information exchange with the HR Departments and the ongoing consulting on the design of the ‘international mobility policy’. In short, our added value is the capacity to provide Italian and international employees/families with a comprehensive, tailor-made, professional service.
